Junction ten, where the M25 meets the A3, is the defining feature of driving around Cobham. It carries an enormous volume, has been through years of remodelling, and queues in every direction at the peaks and often at odd hours besides. Northbound on the A3 towards Esher is the usual route into London and it slows from about seven. When junction ten is stopped, the A245 through Byfleet to junction eleven is the escape, and your chauffeur will decide that before setting off.

Term time here is a real thing. The independent and international schools around Cobham, Oxshott and Effingham all move between eight and nine and again mid afternoon, and the lanes near them are single width in places.
