Farnborough sits in north-east Hampshire and handles business aviation rather than scheduled airlines, which is why it feels nothing like a commercial airport. Passengers are typically executives moving around Europe, families heading south for the summer, and charter groups travelling for sport or for an event. The site also hosts the international airshow held every other summer, which is the one week of the year when the roads around it behave quite differently.

A transfer here is simple by design. Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the time you give us, draws up at the private terminal, and the walk from the car door to the building is a matter of a few steps rather than a terminal crossing. Luggage is handled for you. We ask your operator for the aircraft time and the name of your handling agent, and because we do not claim to track your aircraft we build a sensible buffer into the collection instead.

By road the approach is from the M3 at junction 4 or 4a onto the A327, with the final stretch running through Farnborough itself. From Mayfair or Knightsbridge, expect somewhere between an hour and an hour and a half depending on the M3 and the M25; from Heathrow, usually around forty minutes to an hour. Friday afternoons and the summer getaway both add to that meaningfully, so we set out earlier on those days.

Onward journeys go in every direction: London hotels, the Thames Valley, the Surrey and Hampshire commuter belt, Ascot and Windsor, the Cotswolds and the south coast. Crew usually need a separate vehicle to a local hotel and we run those alongside the passenger car. Where a family arrives with a full hold, a V-Class for luggage travelling with a saloon for passengers works best.
