Private Aviation
Biggin Hill is the business aviation airport that genuinely sits inside London, which changes the arithmetic for anyone working in the City.

Biggin Hill occupies a hilltop in the London Borough of Bromley, on the southern edge of the capital, and carries a name most people know from its wartime history. Today it handles business aviation almost exclusively. Its passengers are typically people who work in the City, Canary Wharf or the West End and want an airport inside the M25, along with residents of Kent, Surrey and south London for whom the northern airports are an hour further away.
Because the terminal is small, the transfer is about arriving at the right moment rather than allowing for queues. Your chauffeur meets you at the building, luggage moves once, and the walk is measured in steps. Give us the departure time from your operator and the handler you are using; we work to that without any claim to track the aircraft, and adjust by message if the slot moves. Collections work the same way in reverse.
The road approach is the interesting part. Most journeys come off the A21 or leave the M25 at junction 4 and climb the A233 over Westerham Hill, which is a good road but not a fast one. From the City or Canary Wharf expect around forty-five minutes to an hour and a quarter; from the West End, longer, with the river crossings deciding it. Because the airfield sits high, low cloud occasionally affects operations, so keep some flexibility in the plan.
Onward, Biggin Hill points naturally at Kent and the coast, at Surrey and the M25 corridor, and at central London hotels. Crew transfers to nearby hotels are straightforward and we book them beside the passenger vehicle. Groups arriving on a larger aircraft with full luggage are best split between a V-Class and a saloon. We are an independent chauffeur company with no affiliation to the airport, its terminal operators or any handling agent.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Bromley is still London, so the run out is a city journey rather than a motorway expedition, and a late collection does not add an hour of travel.
02
The final stretch rises steeply through Kentish lanes and villages, which is pleasant and slow in equal measure. We build that in rather than discover it.
03
A late arrival is no inconvenience here. Your chauffeur waits, the car stays warm, and the return into town is planned around the crossings rather than the clock.
04
We are an independent chauffeur service with no tie to the airport, its terminal operators or any handling agent. Access instructions come from your agent, never from us.
At a Glance
The rare business aviation option that does not require leaving London to reach it.
The A233 climb over Westerham Hill is scenic rather than quick, and we allow for it properly.
Frequently the fastest private terminal to reach from a Canary Wharf desk.
Local Knowledge
Nothing about this resembles a scheduled departure. There is no queue, no gate call and no boarding sequence to absorb a car that runs late, which is precisely why the timing has to be tighter rather than looser. The window we aim for is narrow and agreed beforehand, because everything after you step out of the car is measured in minutes. A commercial airport forgives an early arrival with a lounge; a private one simply means somebody is waiting.
The road in for private movements is not always the road the public signs point towards, and that is as true here as at every business aviation base. Your handling agent is the authority on it. They confirm which entrance is in use, where a vehicle may stand, and how a passenger is met. We ask for that instruction when you book, and the route we plan ends at the address they give us rather than at a general airport postcode.
We work to the handling time your operator provides, not to a departure time, since the second is a flight plan and the first is when you are genuinely expected. We make no claim to track aircraft: the details you share let us plan around the schedule you have been given, and a message resets the collection if that schedule moves. How close the car may come is entirely the agent's decision, and we work to whatever they permit.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.

Biggin Hill is the business aviation airport that genuinely sits inside London, which changes the arithmetic for anyone working in the City.

Corporate & Business
For anyone whose day starts at a desk in the Square Mile or at Canary Wharf, the case is simple arithmetic: the time saved on the road often exceeds the time saved by a faster aircraft. We collect from the building itself rather than a nearby street, and the rear compartment stays quiet enough to keep working as the car climbs out of south London.
Multi-vehicle days are common. A principal in one car, a legal or banking team in another, sometimes a third for documents and cases. They leave together, stay in contact and arrive as a single movement rather than in pieces. Crew transport to a hotel is booked at the same time and runs on its own schedule, so nobody is left standing at the end of a duty.
Who We Drive
Traders, partners and fund managers whose diaries make an airport inside London worth more than a faster aircraft from somewhere an hour further out.
Families living south and east of the capital, for whom the northern airfields mean crossing the entire city before the journey has properly begun.
Owners heading to a second home in France or Italy on a Friday evening and returning on the Sunday, with the same chauffeur at both ends.
Pilots and cabin crew finishing long after the passengers have gone, who need their own vehicle on their own timing rather than a shared wait.
Events & Occasions
Weekend traffic here has a different character to the weekday. Families head to the Alps in February and the Mediterranean in July, groups travel to a golf tournament or a race meeting, couples fly out for two nights. Luggage tends to arrive in quantity, so we would far rather ask for the bag count than guess and send something too small for it.
Onward journeys run naturally into Kent and the Weald, along the M25 into Surrey, or back into central London hotels. A country house arrival at the end of a flight is a different job to an airport run, with lanes, gravel and gates involved, so it is worth telling us the destination properly rather than giving only the postcode.

Timing & Availability
The airfield sits high, which occasionally matters. Low cloud, fog on a winter morning or weather at the far end can move a departure by hours, and a slot that looked settled at breakfast may not be by lunch. We keep the arrangement loose in the right way: the car is yours, so a change of time is a change of time rather than a cancellation followed by a fresh booking.
Short-notice work is common here, particularly late in the evening and at weekends. We would always rather be asked early, because the more distinctive vehicles go first and the busiest weekends fill well ahead of time. Send the outline of the movement by WhatsApp or email and we will say honestly what is available and what it would involve.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
Who we travel with
We are an independent chauffeur service. We hold no official partnership with any airport, terminal operator or fixed base operator. Share your flight number and we will plan your pickup around the published schedule and typical clearance times.
