Private Aviation
Northolt is the closest thing London has to a private airfield in town, and the only one where the gate is guarded by the Royal Air Force.
Quoted individually. Share the outline and we reply with a written price — no rate card, no obligation.
Northolt is an active Royal Air Force station in west London that also accepts a limited number of civil business aviation movements by prior arrangement. Its position is the attraction: it is closer to central London by road than any other airfield handling private aircraft, which matters a great deal when the alternative is an hour on a motorway. Traffic here includes government and diplomatic movements alongside civil charter.
Access is the part that needs planning. This is a military site with controlled entry, so vehicle and driver details are normally required in advance and everything is at the station's discretion. We provide whatever your operator or handler asks for at the time of booking and make no assumptions about what will be permitted. Your chauffeur waits where directed and does not improvise at a guarded gate. We are an independent chauffeur company with no affiliation to the Royal Air Force or the Ministry of Defence.
By road the approach is from the A40 Western Avenue and West End Road, in the Ruislip and South Ruislip area. From the West End, forty minutes to an hour is typical; from the City, longer, and the A40 into town is genuinely slow in the morning peak. The M25 is close for anyone coming from the north or west. As always, we work to the times your operator confirms rather than to any tracking of our own.
Onward journeys tend to run into central London, out to Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns, or west along the M40 towards Oxford. Because permissions and slots here are limited, plans change more often than at a purely civil field, so we keep collection arrangements flexible and stay in contact with whoever is co-ordinating your flight. Crew vehicles and a second car for luggage are booked on the same arrangement.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Vehicle and driver information is gathered when you book and passed to whoever your operator nominates, because access checks at a military station are never quick.
02
Your chauffeur follows the instruction given and waits where directed. A guarded entrance is no place for initiative, and we brief for that well before the day.
03
The run from the West End is short enough to change how a morning works, though the A40 in the peak deserves rather more respect than the distance suggests.
04
We hold no affiliation with the Royal Air Force, the Ministry of Defence or any handling agent. Access is confirmed through your operator and never assumed by us.
At a Glance
By road, the shortest run from central London of any airfield taking private aircraft.
Vehicle and driver information goes in ahead of the day, as the station requires.
Slots here move, so we keep the collection flexible and stay in contact with your operator.
Local Knowledge
A movement here differs from a commercial one twice over. There is the usual business aviation difference, being a narrow window, a short walk and no queue to absorb a car that runs late, and then there is the site itself, which is an active military station with controlled entry. Nothing about vehicle access is a formality, and nothing is at anybody's discretion but the station's. That shapes the plan from the first message rather than from the morning of travel.
Your operator or handling agent is the route through which everything is arranged, and they confirm what actually happens: which entrance applies, what details are required in advance, where a vehicle may wait and how you are met. The road in for these movements is not the same as any public airport entrance, so we ask for the instruction rather than reading it off a map. We supply whatever is requested and assume nothing about what will be approved.
We work to the handling time your operator gives us rather than to a departure time, since only the first tells us when you are expected at the gate. Aircraft tracking is not something we claim; the details you share let us plan around the schedule you have been given. How far the car goes is entirely the station's decision, communicated through your handler, and we work to that and to nothing beyond it.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard
Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

Corporate & Business
Much of the traffic here is official or corporate, and both share a preference for arrangements settled well in advance. We submit the vehicle and driver details early, confirm back to you what has been approved, and keep the same chauffeur across a visit wherever that is possible, so the same face appears at each collection rather than four different ones.
Where a principal travels with staff or security, two or three vehicles move together on matched timings with one point of contact between them. Cars are unbranded and chauffeurs are briefed on discretion as a matter of course. Crew transport runs on its own schedule alongside, with the same advance details submitted for every vehicle involved in the movement.
Who We Drive
Civil travellers using the limited business aviation movements available here, usually because the road time into central London is the deciding factor.
Official parties and their staff, for whom discretion is a requirement rather than a preference, and whose timings are set by other people entirely.
Senior figures travelling with an assistant, security or family, in two or three vehicles moving together rather than in one uncomfortably crowded car.
Crew and support staff needing their own vehicle on their own timing, with the same details submitted in advance as everybody else on the movement.
Events & Occasions
Not every movement here is official. Families and private charter passengers use the field precisely because it is close to town, and an arrival that ends at a house in Mayfair twenty-five minutes later makes for a very different evening to one beginning with an hour of motorway. Luggage is handled by your chauffeur from the moment it appears.
Onward runs go into central London, north-west into Buckinghamshire and the Chilterns, or along the M40 towards Oxford and the Cotswolds. A country house arrival, a wedding or a weekend stay are all far easier as a single booked journey with one chauffeur, and the car waits during a stop rather than being sent away and recalled.

Popular Journeys

Timing & Availability
Slots at Northolt are limited and permissions are conditional, which means plans change more often than at a purely civil field. We treat the first time given as a starting position rather than a fact, keep the collection flexible, and stay in contact with whoever is co-ordinating the flight. A revised time is a message, not a new booking, and the car remains yours throughout.
Because access checks take time, we would rather hold the booking early even where the timing is still uncertain. Short-notice work is sometimes possible where details can still be submitted, but it is genuinely the case that more warning produces a better result here than anywhere else we serve. Send the outline and we will say what is realistic.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
Who we travel with
We are an independent chauffeur service. We hold no official partnership with any airport, terminal operator or fixed base operator. Share your flight number and we will plan your pickup around the published schedule and typical clearance times.
