Airport Chauffeur
Cardiff Airport sits out at Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan, closer to the sea than to the city, and the drive in is part of the pleasure.
Quoted individually. Share the outline and we reply with a written price — no rate card, no obligation.
The airport lies about twelve miles south-west of Cardiff, reached along the A4226 from the M4 and the A48. There is no motorway to the door, and the final stretch through the Vale runs on country roads that are lovely in daylight and noticeably slower after dark. We build that into every collection time rather than trusting the estimate on a screen.
A single terminal makes meeting straightforward. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name board and carries the cases out to the car. Give us your flight number and we plan the pickup around the published schedule and the clearance times we would ordinarily allow. Holiday flights returning late at night are common here, and we treat them as normal rather than exceptional.
Departures deserve a wider margin than the distance implies, particularly from Newport or the valleys where the M4 slows badly at peak times and the tunnels can bring everything to a stop. Your chauffeur arrives ahead of the agreed hour, loads the luggage and drops you at the terminal entrance, which is a short and undramatic walk from the check-in desks.
The onward journeys are the reason many guests fly into Cardiff at all: the Brecon Beacons, the Gower and the Pembrokeshire coast, or a country house weekend up in the Wye Valley. Closer to hand, Cardiff Bay, Newport and Bridgend are short runs, and Bristol is a comfortable drive across the Severn when the flights suit that side better.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Five Mile Lane and the roads through Rhoose are not fast, and after dark they are slower again. Collection times here are built from the road rather than the distance.
02
Flights sometimes work better across the Severn. We collect and deliver at either airport, so the choice can be made on the schedule rather than on the geography.
03
Pembrokeshire, the Beacons and the Gower are hours from any useful station. A chauffeur driven car turns the awkward final leg into the most pleasant part of the day.
04
An international at the Principality closes half the city centre. We plan pickups around the road closures rather than discovering them at a barrier.
At a Glance
No motorway to the terminal. We collect earlier than the mileage suggests, particularly after dark.
The Beacons, the Gower and Pembrokeshire all begin here, and the driving is a pleasure throughout.
Holiday flights land here well into the night. Your chauffeur is in the hall with a board regardless.
Local Knowledge
There is one terminal and one arrivals hall, and your chauffeur waits inside it with a name board rather than telephoning from a car park. On a quiet evening, passengers with hand luggage can be out very quickly indeed; a full holiday flight with a single belt takes considerably longer. We plan the collection around the published arrival and the clearance we would ordinarily allow, and simply wait if the bags are slow.
Departures are set down close to the terminal entrance and the stop is meant to be brief. The approach is the part that repays honesty: the A4226 across the Vale, the A48 through Culverhouse Cross, and the M4 at junction 33 for anyone coming from further afield. Newport traffic through the Brynglas tunnels can undo an entire schedule, so anything starting east of Cardiff gets a wider margin.
What this airport lacks in route choice it makes up for in what lies beyond it. Swansea and the Gower are an easy run west, Pembrokeshire a longer run west, and the Beacons rise within the hour to the north. Bristol Airport is a comfortable drive across the Severn, and London a familiar day's work by road when the flights only make sense from there. Early departures leave before the Vale roads wake up, which is the one hour they are quick.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard
Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

Corporate & Business
Business travel in south Wales tends to concentrate along the M4 corridor, from Newport and the bay out to Bridgend and Swansea, and a visitor's day often takes in two or three of them. Holding one car across the day avoids the awkward gaps that separate bookings create, and gives you somewhere private to take a call between appointments rather than a hotel lobby.
Match days and conference weeks are when corporate travel here gets complicated, because the city centre closes and the usual routes stop working. We plan around that rather than through it, using approaches from the west and setting pickup points that a car can actually reach. Quotations are given in writing beforehand and can be invoiced to a company, with one contact by WhatsApp or email throughout.
Who We Drive
Supporters flying in for a Six Nations Saturday, when the city is full, the trains are fuller, and a car waiting outside the ground is worth a great deal.
Families in Carmarthen, Tenby and along the Pembrokeshire coast, for whom this is the nearest airport and the drive home the longest part of any trip.
People in for meetings in the bay, at the Senedd or across the university, who need a professional chauffeur for a day rather than a single transfer.
Passengers off the last holiday flights of the evening, arriving to a terminal that has largely gone quiet and a rank that has already emptied.
Events & Occasions
A great many guests fly into Cardiff for a few days rather than for the city itself. A country house in the Wye valley, a cottage above the Gower, a week working through Pembrokeshire — none of them is easy without a car, and the roads at the far end reward somebody who has driven them before. We are happy to be booked by the day for that kind of trip.
Weddings across the Vale and up into the valleys bring guests in through this terminal from spring onwards, often on flights that land at inconvenient hours. Staggering the collections so that each arrival is met and nobody sits in the terminal is simple enough when it is arranged in advance. Anniversaries, birthdays and a night at the opera work the same way: the car waits, and nobody has to stay off the wine.

Timing & Availability
The diary here follows the fixture list as much as the flight schedule. International weekends, the summer holidays and the days around Christmas are when the cars go, and a Saturday with a full stadium is the hardest of all. Quieter weeks are genuinely quiet, and a booking made a couple of days ahead is usually enough, midweek especially.
For a late arrival, say so when you book rather than hoping; the terminal empties fast and a car that is already arranged is worth more at eleven at night than at any other hour. For a departure, we would rather propose the collection time once we know where you are starting from. Send the details by WhatsApp or email and we will confirm everything in writing.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
Arrivals
Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal with a name board and helps with luggage to the car. Share your flight number and we plan the wait around the published schedule and the usual time to clear immigration and baggage reclaim.
Departures
We work backwards from the check-in time you want to make, allowing for the road, the hour of day and the walk from the drop-off. Cases are carried to the terminal doors, and your chauffeur will wait until you are inside.
Terminals
We are an independent chauffeur service. We hold no official partnership with any airport, terminal operator or fixed base operator. Share your flight number and we will plan your pickup around the published schedule and typical clearance times.
Onward
Journeys we are most often asked to arrange from Cardiff Airport.
Long-distance journeys from the airport are quoted door to door, including any waiting time. See long-distance journeys or tell us the destination and we will price it.
